Dave has a broad background of leadership experience in business, non-profit and church settings. His undergraduate degree is in Mass Communications and he holds a graduate Seminary degree in Biblical Studies. His passion in life is to add value to the lives and vocations of leaders in order to help them be successful and add value to the lives of those they serve. Dave’s personal mission is to model, mentor and multiply servant leadership in all his spheres of influence. Leading group coaching sessions and teaching leadership through workshops and conferences are at the heart of his passion.

Matt’s history in organizational leadership includes a background with Chick-fil-A, Starbucks Coffee Company, and Target. He passionately pursues making an impact through servant leadership. “Do for one what you wish you could do for everyone,” is one of the guiding principles he measures his life by.

Myra has an extensive background as an accounting professional in for-profit and nonprofit sectors ranging from service, medical, manufacturing, and construction industries. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her passion is sharing her knowledge and experience to help business leaders interpret financial information for planning and decision making.
Michele King, M.S.
Director of Care Services
After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, Michele attended Florida State University where she acquired her Masters of Science in Counseling and Human Systems. From 2001-2009, Michele served as a Staff Member and Johnson City Office Director for TriCities Christian Counseling Center. In 2010, she joined Grace Fellowship Church as the Interim Director of Counseling. Michele has been serving as the Director of Care Services for Summit since 2012 and is a certified life coach. Her passion is derived from seeing the healing power of Jesus in the lives of emotionally hurting and spiritually wounded individuals. She believes His forgiveness offered them redemption of their pain and is always amazing proof of His great love for each of us.
Eric Myers MDIV
Director of Partner Relations
Eric grew up in Seymour, Indiana (home of John “Cougar” Mellencamp”) and earned a business degree from Ball State University. Following a stint in Johnson City working for Saturn, Eric met his wife, Cindy, and moved to Indiana to work for an Indiana corporation as their Director of Customer Service and Training departments. Eight years later, Eric resigned his position and enrolled in Asbury Seminary. Eric earned a Master of Divinity from Asbury in 2010 and began working with Summit as the Director of The Church Mobilization Network in 2014. Eric and Cindy live in Johnson City and have two daughters and a golden retriever. Eric is passionate about movies and cycling the beautiful roads of East Tennessee.

Danielle graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a concentration in Biology and Psychology. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, and wellness industries with four years being in the nonprofit sector. Danielle enjoys community outreach, partnership connection, and developing creative content. She lives locally in Gray, TN and spends her free time with her husband Grant, baby boy Callum, and two dogs Gizmo & Knox.

Chloe graduated from UT-Knoxville with a Master of Science Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Management, Leadership, and Community Practice. She has over 10 years of experience in nonprofit management and development. Chloe is passionate about ensuring everyone has a voice at the table. She is currently raising her son and two dogs with her husband in Johnson City, TN.

Danielle graduated from Johnson and Whales University with degrees in Business Management and Marketing. She joins the team with over 18 years of experience in retail with Target, Mattress Firm, and most recently The Vitamin Shoppe. Her husband Blaine has 10+ years with Food City serving as their Director of In Store Sushi. In their free time they enjoy going on adventures with their daughter, Claire.
Gary Ellis
Coffee Lead & Hospitality Support
Gary joins the Summit team with multiple years of experience in the public service realm. He is passionate about roasting coffee and committed to life-long learning. Gary graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science Degree. After attending CO.STARTERS, Gary discovered his true passion for coffee which led to opening Outpost Roasters. Gary is a proud husband, father, and Pastoral Intern at Redstone Community Church.
Rick Brooks
Facility Host
Rick brings an entire career in Occupational Safety with experience in every aspect of construction safety at a nuclear fuel production facility. Rick is passionate about serving his community through retirement. He is committed to safety culture improvement and knowledgeable in human factors analysis and error prevention tools. He formerly taught a “Safety In The Workplace” class at Northeast State Community College and has volunteered as a Safety Auditor for Mission Safety International. In his free time, Rick enjoys tending to his apple orchard and spending time with his family (especially his grandchildren).
