Repentance produces joy 

May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loved us and in His special favor gave us everlasting comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and give you strength in every good thing you do and say. For God will use sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek salvation. We will never regret that kind of sorrow. But sorrow without repentance is the kind that results in death.

(2 Thessalonians 2:16, 2 Corinthians 7:10)

    Father, thank You for Your faithful care to shepherd me. When Your Holy Spirit leads me to see sin in my life, help me to be quick to repent and submit to His leading.
